Winners Travel Foundation.

Uplifting caregivers, our humble heroes.

We invest in
caregiver well being.

Millions of caregivers have raised their hands and dedicated their whole life to caring for a loved one. We see and celebrate those hands. We support caregivers by investing in their mental, physical and financial wellness.

Each year, we host multi-day retreats featuring professional wellness workshops, recreational activities and group therapy for family caregivers—especially parents of children with disabilities or lifelong medical needs. Through a proven model rooted in compassion, science, and local partnerships, caregivers return home with the tools and support network they need to thrive, not just survive.

This mission is personal to me. Iʼve seen what burnout looks like —and Iʼve seen what healing can look like, too. Iʼm a husband, father, doctor, farmer, entrepreneur, and author — but more than anything, Iʼm someone who cares deeply about people. My lifeʼs work has always been about helping others become whole — not just healthy in body, but strong in spirit and mind.

I started the Winners Travel Foundation because I saw something sacred in the selflessness of caregivers. These are people who pour everything they have into others, often with no time to refill their own cup. I wanted to create something that gave back to them — a pause, a breath, a chance to feel seen. Through travel, reflection, and community, we offer caregivers more than just a break. We offer a path to whole health and wellness.

Winners Travel is more than a nonprofit. Itʼs a reflection of what I believe life can be: full of meaning, connection, and moments that remind us who we are. Itʼs an honor to walk alongside the caregivers we serve — and to help them rediscover the joy they so freely give to others.

Thank you for seeing caregivers and moving toward us with compassion and real help. Opportunities are extremely rare for us to rest and connect. You stand out by entering into the struggles with us…

Katie

This weekend is something I didn’t know I needed but did. I knew I needed a break but being around others like myself gave me an outlet.

Time to really dive deeper into our experiences as a couple, caregivers to our daughter, the impact it has had on us as a family, encouragement to engage help from other resources, hope…that what we’re doing is valuable, seen and appreciated.
